Mobile notary service in San Antonio
A Texas notary public comes to you, by appointment, anywhere within 30 road miles of our base in North San Antonio, and up to 50 road miles at a per-mile rate.
What the notary can do in person
- Acknowledgments: you confirm to the notary that you signed the document willingly.
- Jurats (sworn statements): you swear or affirm that the statement is true and sign in front of the notary.
- Oaths and affirmations.
The notary cannot tell you which notarial act or certificate your document needs, and cannot give legal advice. Ask the person or organization that asked you for the notarization.
How to book a visit
Every visit is booked online and cancelled online, on its appointment page. Email is for questions.
- On the booking page, enter the visit address. The page checks it and shows the travel fee for the road miles to you.
- Answer a few questions about your document, and choose its certificate from the forms Texas provides.
- Choose an open time, in Central time, and save your card through Stripe. Nothing is charged when you book.
Hours: Every day, 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM Central. Available times depend on your distance from our base; the booking page shows only times we can reach.
Questions before you book? Email notary@satxnotary.com.

Before the visit
- Every signer you listed must be present at the visit.
- Each signer needs identification that Texas accepts. Read the Texas law on identification, quoted in full.

See what to bring to a notary visit for the full list. We email you a reminder about 24 hours before the visit and again about 2 hours before it.
Wills and estate documents
A will's self-proving affidavit can be notarized at an in-person visit. Wills and other estate documents: email us first with your questions, so the visit can be planned with you, including any witnesses your document calls for. Then book the visit online.
