Online notarization
Sign on a video call with a Texas online notary, from home or anywhere else, instead of meeting in person.
What it is
In an online notarization you verify your identity online, meet a commissioned Texas online notary on video, and sign your document electronically. You can be anywhere; Texas law requires only the notary to be in Texas.
Online notarization through notarizetexas.io is coming soon. The same notary who runs SATX Notary will offer it statewide.
When a mobile visit is the better fit
- Wills, codicils, and testamentary trusts are never notarized online. For those and other estate documents, email us first with your questions.
- The recipient of your document requires it to be notarized in person.
- A signer does not have an unexpired U.S. state or federal photo ID, which online notarization requires.
- You would rather sign on paper.
For any of these, book a mobile notary visit online. See mobile notary service. Questions? Email notary@satxnotary.com.
Your information
Online bookings will be made on notarizetexas.io, not on this site, and its own privacy policy will cover them. What this site collects when you book an in-person visit is in our privacy policy.
